Device communication
Understand how a mobile app, native SDK and connected glasses work together.
Keep the layers clear
The Lucyd SDK provides app-facing device operations and events. The mobile operating system manages permissions, connections and audio routing. Glasses firmware implements model-specific behavior. Your mobile app owns its user experience, business context and service integrations.
Build against the documented SDK surface. Low-level transport details will be shared through appropriate developer materials.
Diagnose an operation
- Check connection and feature availability.
- Correlate the SDK request with its documented result or event.
- Distinguish request acknowledgement from operation completion.
- After a timeout or reconnect, query current state before repeating an action with side effects.
- Remove credentials and personal data from logs before sharing diagnostics.

The browser learning tool uses mock data to demonstrate application flow. It does not connect to a device, SDK or Bluetooth radio and does not verify protocol behavior.
